Description

This TAMB2 Telephone Access Module with Power Supply from Bogen Communications is designed as an interface between a telephone system and a paging system, providing dual-purpose voice paging. It's compatible with the full range of analog telephone port types, and is capable of station port or trunk port operation. Music from a background music source (with stereo-combining RCA jacks and volume control) is possible via a line-level input, which allows background music to be used during a page with central paging amplifiers don't have a muting provision. This module is ideal for simple or complex telephone paging situations. A 24V power supply is included and is required for all modes of operation.

Takes an analog phone line and outputs it to PA system, you'll need the Bogen WMT-1A and standalone amplifier + speakers.Easiest setup is using station mode, it will output whenever there is someone on the line.Item arrived as described. It is hooked up and running. The only issue we have is the volume doesn't seem to go high enough. Have techs coming to see if there is a conflict between this module and our existing equipment.Had an old TAM-B go out after a power outage causing a bad hum in the paging system. Isolated the TAM-B as the issue. Searched many of our usual vendors, including Amazon, and found TAMB-2 new unit here for a good price and free shipping.
